Our Casual Worship began in September 2007. This is a work in progress as it grows to meet the needs of the people. Our Praise/Worship Leader is Meghan Wakeley, who added these duties to her position as Music director. You are cordially invited to worship with us on Sunday at 8:30 am in the Fellowship Hall.
Traditional Worship held in the Sanctuary each Sunday morning begins at 10:30am Here we worship with our Chancel Choir, and more traditional music. We would love to have you worship with us anytime!
During the 10:30 worship service we invite the children ages 3yrs-6th grade to join us at "Children’s Worship" which is based on the Group Publishing curriculum of the same name. We sing praise music; have a Bible lesson and a craft and/or game. This is the same format that we use during the summer during the 9:30 Sunday school hour as well.
Youth Worship
For grades 7th - 12th, this is a time of intimate worship and praise for the youth of Fairmont. Lead by our Praise and Worship leader and Nadia VanDorn, the youth will learn to speak and listen to God in a meaningful way. Presbyterian Youth Connection (PYC) Dinner and Program will follow.
